Beginning with the theme of trees, we were faced with the task of creating wallpaper, tiles, & a merchandise product for a hotel. After creating abstracted images of tree trunks & bark for our wallpaper & tile decals, we created a tile tessellation which we then cut out of clay, glazed, & applied our decals to. For the merchandise product, we abstracted the idea of branches & twigs & applied this design in three scales for our hotel. From these three items, I chose to create the pendant using flat copper wire.
